Dr. Nathan Haas
Dr. Nathan Haas has practiced general dentistry since 1998. Originally from Toronto, he graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and subsequently completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy. Soon after completing his doctorate he moved back to Toronto and commenced his dental career. During his many years in Toronto he owned dental practices, provided his expertise teaching in the dental program at the University of Toronto and worked for Health Canada in remote northern Ontario communities.
In 2011, Dr. Nathan, as he is affectionately known, moved to northern Ontario and he has been practicing in the north ever since. Dr. Nathan enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but particularly enjoys oral surgery.
Through his 21+years of dental experience, Dr. Nathan has been involved in providing dental care to children in a fun and positive way through the Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist program that he and his wife Sarah founded in 2005 in Toronto. This program has moved with Dr.Nathan when he moved north to Sault Ste Marie. This program has provided hundreds of children a fun and positive first start in dentistry and has paved the way for prevention of dental disease. This program will soon be available to all children in Elliot Lake and the North Shore.
In Dr. Nathan's spare time he spends time with his wife Sarah and two children; Ella and Ethan. He enjoys flying radio controlled helicopters and tropical fish.
Alisha graduated from Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College in 2009. Her first job in dentistry involved working for Dr. Bourret covering for our retired dental hygienist Carole. She has worked at the Elliot Lake Dental Centre as a dental hygienist for over three years.
She was born and raised in Elliot Lake. Although she has spent some years away, she always found her way back home. Elliot Lake is her forever home and she is proud to raise her children here.
In her spare time Alisha spends it with her family being active outdoors.
Ashley completed her Dental Assisting Level 2 diploma at Cambrian College in 2011. She obtained her NDAEB certificate in 2011 and worked in Ontario from 2011-2013. Ashley then made her way to Alberta and obtained her RDA license with the College of Dental Assistants of Alberta. She worked in Alberta from 2014-2017. After a year maternity's leave she returned to Ontario and has been with the Elliot Lake Dental Centre since 2017.
Ashley truly enjoys her profession and role as a dental assistant. Some of her dental assisting duties include: working alongside Dr. Nathan during dental surgery and restorative procedures. As well, Ashley works alongside our denturist Tim and manages our dental recall system.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Ashley, CDA II, RDA
Christine began her dental career in Elliot Lake in the early 1980's and has been involved in the field since. Christine started with the Elliot Lake Dental Centre in 2018 the Dental Office Manager and Administrator.
In her spare time she practices yoga and cooking. She loves the great outdoors!

In 2018 Brittney completed Dental Assisting Level 1 through the Stratford Career Institute and graduated with honours. She began her dental career at the Elliot Lake Dental Centre in early 2018. Prior to entering the dental field she has 10 years of experience in the restaurant and management industry running a restaurant, golf course and catering business.
In the future Brittney seeks to obtain HARP certification for diagnostic dental images and further her career in the dental field.
In her spare time Brittney enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs Hunter and Carlie.
Brittney, Chairside DA
Originally a local girl from Blind River, Connie attended Canadore College in 2002 for the dental assisting program and acquired her Level I and II Dental Assisting Diploma. She worked for some time in North Bay as a dental assistant and then returned to Canadore College to acquire her Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2009. She later moved back to Blind River to further her career in dental hygiene and to be closer to family and friends.
Connie strives to ensure her clients always are informed and comfortable during their dental visits. She believes that there's, "nothing more gratifying than educating her clients in oral and systemic health, as well as helping them overcoming dental fear."
Connie enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends. She enjoys the beautiful outdoors in the north that we call home.
Connie, CDA I, II, RDH
Sarah graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2000 from Niagara College and has been working in the dental field since in various aspects: dental hygienist, teaching dental hygiene, dental marketer, treatment coordinator and dental office administrator. In 2014 she completed her Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Promotion and in 2018 became a certified Orofacial Myologist.
Currently, Sarah is working on the Elliot Lake Dental team as the dental marketing manager involved with online social media platforms, website/brand development and SEO. As well, Sarah practices dental hygiene at a periodontal practice in Sault Ste. Marie and at the Elliot Lake Dental Centre.
In her spare time she enjoys travel with her husband Nathan and their children Ella and Ethan. She loves baseball and coaches her son's team in the summer.
